If you are just beginning, I wouldn't worry about finding an alternative to eating sweets. Before taking anything out, think about *adding in*. All the times I tried going cold turkey I failed.

The amazing thing about this program is that it doesn't take willpower...just attention to the steps, and some time for your body and mind to catch up to the changes. I've been doing this now for over 10 years, and it isn't about willpower...and finding something else to do besides eat sugar. It really does work! I don't crave, and don't fight with the sugar monster daily anymore.

How is breakfast going for you? My current favorite is lentils and chicken!
