Joy dot: looking at the Manzano and Sandia mountains on my way in to work

Hi Carrie
I use one scoop of Restore in my shake, and then I add greek yogurt and cottage cheese to make up the rest of the protein. It makes the shake more thick and creamy and I like the taste. I also use greek yogurt in place of sour cream, and my husband mixes it with milk and protein powder to put on his cereal. I haven't had regular yogurt in ages.

I think it's great that you have planned different breakfasts to try. You can experiment and see which ones work best. I have shake Monday - Friday, and then I have an omelet and toast on the weekends.

: Thanks for the feedback, Mosaic. I
: also questioned whether the yogurt
: would leave me satisfied so I
: included an egg (on the side) with
: the shake. The yogurt is listed
: with acceptable proteins in YLD. I
: haven't had that particular
: breakfast yet so I'll have to see
: if I can tolerate it. I also
: question whether protein powder
: will be satisfying. I'll keep you
: posted. Thanks for the info on the
: fruit.

: Egg substitute "Egg
: Beaters" is basically the
: white of the egg with the yolk
: removed. It still is high in
: protein but doesn't have the fat.
: It's quite satisfying in an omelet
: as long as I include at least one
: whole egg. What do you have for
: breakfast?

: Thanks for the feedback and
: encouragement. It is crucial for
: me right now.
