its a great question.

I have a smallish ceereal dish full and with it being thick, the volume isnt overpowering. Having said that, I don't have a problem with eating all my protein/brown/green :h6) But chicken in soup, or even cottage cheese, is so versatile it just kind of settles in there so its not too much.

Dense protein is what I always think of, when combined ( say sausage/egg/bacon or in different forms - like mince ( ground) its not like a big chunk

you'll have to let us know how you fare. Is your breakfast protein a challenge?
