Re: Doing PNP for the first time

Joy dot: Adding back in cheese and yogurt to my vegan diet makes me feel better, and more rested. Sigh, so much for saving a cow! I just don't want to eat the darn thing.
Being hungry wasn't the issue I think, but not having enough tryptophan??? Maybe. I've always been a dedicated breakfast eater, and mid-morning an afternoon snacker because my workouts are pretty intense. I do an hour of TurboKick or P90X and then I walk the dog for 40 minutes at a fast clip so three meals a day has never been ideal. With the dog being injured and my hip-flexor being inflamed, I've cut back on all of it, and so, I get a chance to recuperate with moderate intensity workouts. Blech. I got out of balance a year ago, for reasons of the heart, and I've been having trouble get re-balanced. Veganism didn't seen to resolve the imbalance! Thanks for the tips on snacking. I see that eating three meals a day is important, but I'd rather have five to stay stable.
