Re: Failure/Help

Laura, would a consult with Kathleen, or an "Ask Kathleen" help with your query about the zoloft I wonder? Hope your situation eases soon, sounds hard ((Laura))

One thing that helped me such a lot was finding explanations for all this in the biochemistry - why its funny to have no appetite for breakfast yet feeling primed for everything later on.... I read and read

have you got PnP? have a look at page 96. theres such alot of info over the two pages there... I found it so comforting

'many sugar sensitive people love to skip breakfast. Not eating creates a stress in your body which thinks it is starving because of the long interval without food. So your body releases beta endorphin that makes you feel lean and mean and focused.. this high lasts for a bit until you crash and then are desperate"

theres lots more - and I found those reasons helped me understand why I felt as I was feeling.

I was very familiar with the 'coping' feeling and 'this will help me get by' of a BE rush of no breakfast - made me feel efficient.

One I had that 'understanding' it helped me to commit myself to an experiment and try breakfast every day. I didnt think it would work . But I was listening, so I had a go. Not perfect every day LOL -if you know how much I got wrong! but that didnt matter. It was enough just to get 'every day' at first. I didnt even realise how much I had adrift till later, but by then simply doing it every day had woken me up a bit.

the other day, you posted about step one list. That really helpfully reinforced for me my own posting strategy :h12) and I was glad you had found a comfy place . What really helped me more than anything was posting every day. It tuned me in somehow. The connection, I expect :h10) If you'd fancy a post every day somewhere, here or over in step one list, do you think that would be helpful for you?
