Maureen,
There are two things - your Yahoo ID (which you need) and the Yahoo email address (which you don't need).

When you set up your personal email address on the list, is it under the same Yahoo ID as the one you used when you set up the Yahoo email address? If you used different Yahoo ID's, then you can just go to the site for the Yahoo!Group, log in under the Yahoo ID that you used to sign up on the list where you used the Yahoo email address, and either cancel yourself out of the list, or set it to No Mail (in "Edit Membership").

Since you set up your personal email on the list, and that's where you want to get the list email, you should be able to stop also having the emails sent to your Yahoo address.

If that doesn't make sense, tell me what list you are on, and the two email addresses. It might take a few days for me to get back to you since I'm traveling but I will.
