Hello Jeffrey,

Very interesting thread, thanks for getting it started. Great record of your food and fitness log - and hopefully getting to the route of the spikes and crashes. I have excercised a lot for over 40 years - you name it - back in the day at the height of my sugar craziness - I would bike 18 km into town; join my rowing team for the morning row; do it all over again, another row and bike back home after work - and wonder why I could not stop eating sugar. Did I even consume any protein - good question.

Thankfully, that kind of craziness is long gone - eating balanced protein meals (3 a day with protein snacks in between) with supplementation for over 6 years now; with a sane workout mix for the last 9 months and now, tadah, the sugar free icing on the brown cake :h10) most recently finding these steps in this order. Finally a name to what I have - sugar sensitivity - and a sane approach to deal with it.

I was resigned to just accepting the sugar part and never getting a handle on it - despite the otherwise healthy lifestyle. Now I am actually hopeful, this will continue to work.
