Ive been playing with meditation for years and can only manage ten minutes even now ( and then I go off daydreaming in the middle, but its all good!)

I think the thing is, just *be aware* of your breathing, listen to it, that's all, for starters.

I do a guided meditation every day too. I like to use headphones because that shuts the world out, and just listen. Ive even got some lovely headphones for my phone when travelling so can do it any where. Theres lots of guided meditations if you do a search to find one that suits you.
