Re: New to PNP

Hi Cornishmaid84
Welcome! You are in the right place.
You are right, it's hard to explain the program to other people, and a lot of them don't want to hear about it because they don't want to think about their own eating habits. When I started, I just did it quietly and if people asked me questions I would just say that I feel better when I eat this way.

Eating protein made a huge difference for me. When I added protein to my breakfast, I wasn't ravenous an hour later the way I was after an all carb breakfast.

How is breakfast going? Did you find a protein you like for breakfast?

: crazy. Im vegetarian so can see
: why i have had problems with mood
: swings as clearly not getting
: enough protein in or having
: breakfast first thing in the
: morning. I have tried to explain
: this theory to friends and family
: but get the crazy look so good to
: find this forum to help support
: with the changes in my diet. Cant
: believe how much i spent at the
: supermarket buying all the whole
: grain and protein rich foods! but
: worth it if i can stabilize my
: moods and anxiety. I have been off
: work for the past 2 weeks as i
: dealing with the anxiety with

: physically and mentally and just
: too tired to put on the pretense

: until i found this book. what a
: god send, now giving me hope and
: focus on getting myself better
: along with learning to love
: myself.
