I'm not sure why you can't open the replies. But I can explain about the emojis. When you use them in your post, they don't show up as a picture; instead, they look like a code. But when you submit your post, they will show as pictures when it shows up on the forum. I believe you also have to leave a space between the text have typed and the emoji.
