theres a couple of things for me about journal.
One is that the action of writing is like a wiring into my brain. The writing clears things for me and unravels the bits that need unraveling Hard to describe LOL
then, I started off VERY simple. At first I only had two words to write in it. Uneasy and Anxious. I didn't see the point of recording meals as I knew what I was eating But gradually I saw that its different from a diet diary. Its my own device for my body translating messages for me, and so I get my conversation going
The direct opposite of ignoring my body - a caring and listening and welcoming of self and involvement
and it stayed a mystery right into step seven in some ways, but grows along with me
no, three things There's no judgement in our journals. None. Doesn't matter what eating stuff we put in there. There's no competition, or being good or bad or anything like that, or blame, or ought-to. Only Info.
Really good idea to join a group or class Trish Let us know how you go.
there is a journal available in the store if you like. Myself I use exercise books, or sometimes when travelling just a fold of paper, but am fussy about the pen, which has to be just so
Course you can set off by just writing breakfast in there, record the four parts, and how you are feeling.
Good work on your two menus
