Be a better self but still yourself

Last time I posted "about hungry", in that I shared my findings about the connection between blood sugar and the feeling of hungry. No mater how much food I eat, I feel hungry if my blood sugar level dropps. Now I got some new findings, after I fell off the cliff several times on my way to healing the sugar cravings.

First I find out as a sugar adict we'd better not take it seriously and remind ourselves all the time we are sugar addict. The more you remind myself, the worse I'm feeling when I have cravings. With the help from Kathleen now I can tell the difference between phisical hunger and craving, the 7-step method is also effective, but on my way to moving the sugar out of my lift, sometimes I fell off the cliff. Beng hungry is not an option, the feeling of hungry is actually what triggered my craving for sweets. I always force myself not to eat anything sweet, and this in turn increased my cravings. I don't know the reason but now I realized I can be feeling better if I could:

1. forget about my sugar sensitive body, just as normal people

2. don't be hungry, even when you want to lose weight

3. eat something "sweet" can ease the craving, try the artificial sweetener, like sugar alcoholes (xilitol / erythritol), Atkins, Quest, Irvine, and other protein bars are good ones for me. It contains much protein and fiber, very few nett carbs; but do not eat them as snacks, eat them when u r hungry, as a meal

4. excersice regularly, let it be part of your everyday life, no matter how busy u r; maybe just doing some HITT or Insanity at home for 20-30 minutes; Burpee would be a good option, 10 minutes Burpee burns 200+ calaries, even more than 30 min other regular work out.

Our goal is to be a better self, however, we are still ourselves. We are different, we cannot move the "sweets" out of our life completely in a short period of time. We need to stick with our plan long enough and let the changes to come into effect slowly, step by step; on the way there, forget about the fact of being different from other normal people, try alternatives for "sweets", may no be good, but better than falling off the cliff all the time. Gradually, we'll move the sugar out.

PS. I tried the Atkins and protein bars, together with knowledge of the real reason of getting fat (avoid white carbs), now I do not crave for anything white, eating those sweet bars is just to avoid the possible cliff that I may fall when I stick with the plan, just in case. I don't eat that much, but enough to ease the cravings.
