Re: My food plan

: I have been working on a food plan

: I am concerned about your not bbeing
: able to eat out. Most of us on
: step 7 eat out all the time.

I like this responding within the message, Its a lot easier to respond and follow a thought. Thanks.

Now as far as eating out. I ate out last night for the first time in a month! I was really not looking forward to it but realize this is not healthy socially or emotionally. So since it was my wife's birthday dinner I wanted to try it. The kids wanted to go to a nice pizza place in Chattanooga. My worries that I told my wife are eating too late. or not having anything to order that seemed right. ( enough protein and some good browns) She went ahead with some everyone but I stayed home ride with one daughter who was still at work.

She looked at the menu and we decided what to order. ( I really feel like a child at how anxious I get eating out, I lose control, eat too much, eat wrong stuff, then eat dessert) So I couldnt think of any pizza that would be ok. So I ordered chicken parm. With a kale salad. I cant eat Iceberg lettuce. Its terrible on me. and not good lettuce anyway. So long story short, I did fine, ate the meal, ate some pasta (i am sure it was something refined) and a couple bites of bread (again, garlic knots, white bread) , and passed on dessert. Even when they brought out Ice cream for everyone. Not difficult at all. I was amazed. Then three hours later had my sweet potato.
Feel great this morning.

Some questions. I cant find any restaurants that offer whole grain pasta or bread. Or potatoes. What do you order at a typical restaurant? longhorn, mex, pizza, fast food. Most unless speciality seem to not offer whole grain options.
I am willing. Just need some guidance. My issue is I am trying to eat the "real" browns.

What are your suggestions.

: :h11) I hope you will keep rereading
: it...Also there is a lot posted
: here on the website to add to it

: Well, the base data you were using
: was not geared to a sugar
: sensitive body, nor had you healed
: your brain.

: So my problems were on the

: Yes, but this is not at all what we
: strive for. We want to teach you
: how to do the food, anywhere,
: anytime.

: I had regular cheats

: Yes, the 3 day thing is actually
: neurochemical. And because you
: never went through the *process*
: of the steps, you never healed the
: neurochemistry.

It was a big change for me to do the three meals a day plus potato. This was a challenge, but I am glad I did.

: This is because you were doing
: *marion's* program rather than the
: steps :h12)

: I did feel much

: Following the *rules* let you squeak
: by, but radiance is so much more.

I definitely want to move forward to the radiance.

: Well, and, to be kind, there was more
: than that going on.

: The result was

: Yes, it does work!!!! Nice job. :h12)

: I have some ideas that I will share
: below.....

: Well, I have lots of ideas for you.
: What would you think about joining
: our coaching class and getting
: some
: specific input on what you can do to
: increase and expand your
: repetoire? Your OCD will serve you
: well if you have more data to put
: in.

YES, I am all for learning more, the coaching class sounds great.

: Funny thing is I don't

: Yes, trying to sort it on your own is
: sort of hte long way around :h2)
: Given all you have learned I would
: think that with a couple of weeks
: of direct coaching, you would be
: thrilled and have lots of choices.

: I would be happy to do that but it is
: more complex than a few lines in
: an email. Go to
: www.radiantrecovery.com and look
: under the *learn* tab for the
: coaching plan that would let me
: work with you in a group and give
: you very specific feedback.

: I used to get

: Yah, it would be nice to be able to
: go back to eating out. Especially
: because if you have the cor of a
: Frenchman, food should be a joy.

: So glad for the progress.!!!

: Warmly,
