New and Sad/Hopeful about Low Blood Sugar

Hello, I am really glad I have discovered Kathleen's books and these forums. I feel understood through reading the books, and I feel that Kathleen really cares.

I don't have a whole lot of weight to lose, but I would love to discover that I can get my low blood sugar problems under control, and I would love to be able to use "potatoes not Prozac."

I am on Step One in The Sugar Addict's Total Recovery Program, and have posted a little on the Step One forum.

I have been low-carb and sugar-free for a long time, and have always eaten a good breakfast, so I'm a little confused about how the Steps will work for me. I am excited about trying to eat grains and complex carbs without messing up my blood sugar. I got really tired of extreme low-carb. I may have a problem with wheat, though, and maybe even other grains.

I am especially excited about trying the potato at night.

Well, I am hopeful, but also a little depressed, because I'm not sure how long it will take for me to get smooth energy levels and to sleep well, or if I even can.

Lisa
