Re: T

Love this to bits Jo Ellen
Every mealtime is a treat for me. I remember vowing a long time ago that I would never again eat anything I didn't like

I had spent so much time eating horrible things because they promised the diet-of-the -day weight loss. I bought commercially prepared things ( you probably know the many ones LOL) and also waded through things I detest like grapefruit :s8( :s8( :s8(

so part of healing was looking after Me :h10) and being selfish :h11) and having the faith to go with what I *know*............ I buy expensive decaf just for me. The rest of it is more humble, but I have learnt a true appreciation off my favourite foods and eat them every day :h11) :h11) I never settle for anything

Sometimes I settle for "Good enough " specially when travelling, but even then, it HAS to be nice !

where to start ? today is Roasted vegetables, fat garlic cloves, its salty crispy skin salmon today :h4) parmesan shaved on the salad, artichoke hearts from the tin, and ( trying to drag myself away from foodie treats LOL) a walk round the nature reserve with a friend this afternoon, basking in the spring sun snuggling into scarf, new kindle book, a hairwash because washing my hair never fails in feelgood points.

isn't it lovely to know, every morning when you wake, there are treats in store ? :h7)

: T is for treats. On this program I've
: redefined what treats are. First,
: a lot of my treats aren't even
: food anymore. A bubble bath, a
: foot rub, a walk in the woods, a
: kiss 'n' purr with my kitty are
: wonderful. My food treats are
: still delicious and even better
: than they used to be: zucchini
: sweet potato walnut oat muffins,
: specialty nut butters on wild rice
: cakes, frozen oat cakes with
: peanut butter, new shake flavors.

: I never feel deprived on this
: program, even after years on step
: 7. In fact, I enjoy everything I
: eat--it's all treats!
