Re: W is for Waiting

Hi Jan,

I'm not Janice, but I did have terrible hypoglycemia before doing this program. Once I broke a cabinet door in the kitchen slamming it when I was having a low blood sugar temper tantrum. I couldn't go more than a couple hours without a snack. When my blood sugar would crash, I would get really confused and dopey.

Doing the steps healed it. I can easily go for 5-6 hours after meals without any problems now. It's like night and day, how stable my blood sugar is. Like mosaic says, it starts with breakfast and getting step one consistent. It got considerably better by step 3, and after a few months on step 6 I don't remember having any troubles with it.

: Hello, Janice. First of all, I love
: the way you began your post, your
: description is really beautiful.

: I love the IDEA of waiting. My
: problem is that I have
: hypoglycemia, and when my blood
: sugar drops, I get weak, sad,
: anxious, short-tempered, and
: desperate. Are you able to wait
: because your particular
: biochemistry does not have this
: serious low blood sugar problem?
: Or did you used to have this kind
: of LBS problem and your body
: improved because of the program?

: I am so eager to know the answer. I
: know that in my future is
: "three meals a day with no
: snacks", and I'm not really
: sure I can ever do it with my
: reactive hypoglycemia.

: I would love to hear your thoughts.

: Thank you.

: Jan (formerly Lisa)
