Re: I'm "different" than everyone else

Hello, just want to say you are not alone in feeling this way and you are absolutely NOT messed up or different from any other who goes through the radiant recovery process!

Believe me, I thought this for so long. Before reading Kath's books. I truly thought I had to live in this absolute H*LL of cravings with the sugar. But we have a choice, we can take just ONE action that will get us to the path of recovery. Kath mentions doing things step at a time, rather than avoiding things cold-turkey. I wonder if that's the problem, you simply gave up everything too quickly? Maybe you can try for example, just dairy and wheat, but don't worry right now about the sugar?

Before trying this approach ( RR ) I tried the cold turkey approach so many times and never worked because my brain had not healed nor had my body been gettin any good protein surprise - i just ate lots of bread, lol, and told myself hey its okay there's no 'sugar' in it! but where was my protein?

Please don't give up! If I can do it LOL the QUEEN of everything sweet, you can absolutely!! :h2)
