Planning for a trip

*finally getting to see season 1 of a British police drama that I really enjoy

My husband and I are going on a trip later this week. We are going to New England to visit with my family and friends and do some little excursions. Of course, I am thinking about food.

Because we are staying with family, I am not worrying about bringing food, except for food for the flight. But I am thinking about what foods we should buy and prepare once we get there. Because we will taking some longer excursions in the car, I am thinking it would be good to have some almonds, cheese sticks and yam cakes. I make the recipe from this website that has Restore in it, so I will need to bring a zip-lock bag with 1 cup of Restore in it. I can purchase the other ingredients when we get there, as well as the cheese sticks and almonds.

Of course we are also thinking about the other details, like what prescriptions need to be refilled before we go, and whether we have enough pet food for our dogs, cat and parrots. I also need to get vitamin B multi because I don't have enough for the trip.

Doing the food helps me stay calm and make plans. We have a lot to do, but I know we will get it all done and I just work on one thing at a time.
