I love to exercise in the morning too. That way it is done and I feel great the rest Of the day. I experimented until I found what works for me.

A Couple of things I have done. That work for me.
I used to get up at 5:30 I would have half my breakfast amount. And then after shower and getting dressed, around 7:30 I would
have a second breakfast full amount. ( I remember thinking I will gain weight with the extra food! Nope.) what my body needed.
Now I get up later (as work afternoons partime) have my breakfast and exercise. Usually a swim.
So try a few ways and see what works for you.
