I just read a book called "The Bridge Ladies" which was about the author's mother and the bridge group that she had been playing with for years. While writing the book, the author took bridge lessons. It certainly does sound like a very complicated game. I guess you would need to play for quite a while to get good at it.

My grandparents used to play bridge one night a week. I've never learned. I prefer games that are less complicated Cribbage is more my speed (and I've totally forgotten how to play that.)
