I work out almost every day, skipping only when I have to be to work very early.
When I was new to the program, I didnt eat before working out because it thought
it would ruin my workout, since i never ate before working out before, I
felt too full, or my acid indigestion would flair up. Making for a poor workout.
But as I cleaned up my act and was doing the program pretty well, all steps,
except eating within an hour of getting up.
So when posting my schedule this was my criticism. But thought as many do
that I know best. Well I tried it and to my surprise it didnt harm my workout at all
maybe even helped it. I did not feel bloated or acidic.

It may be that I cleaned up my act and my acid first. Bottom line, it IS necessary to eat within one hour of waking.

What I eat varies from oatmeal with protein powder (no added sweetner) or
oatmeal, with salt and three eggs, its kinda like grits and eggs, pretty good.

Or two pieces of whole grain toast and 2 or three eggs,
I wake up drink about 16oz of water then, have coffee and breakfast, sometimes immediately, then about 15 - 30 min later workout
Of course what ever breakfast works for you, as long as enough protein with browns.

I was surprised but had no negative experience.

Hope this helps
