Re: eating out, and long weekends away from home..

I'm happy to hear from you, Marion. I remember when you first
posted on the forum. It sounds like you are having success
expanding your food choices. And how nice to get to spend
a long weekend at the beach with friends enjoying the company
and being biochemically balanced.

: I wanted to give an update and report
: on some success.
: I had some setbacks a few months back
: after surgery, but am back doing
: well for a couple of months now.

: After being compliant with the
: program, with every step, I fell
: in a routine of eating almost the
: same thing every day. One veteran
: said, Great but I am a prisoner of
: my food. Which was true, I was ok
: if I prepared my food but eating
: out gave me such anxiety. I
: avoided it when ever possible, and
: when I went I didnt enjoy it and
: worried about what to order, often
: making bad choices.
: Also, had the same issues with goiing
: out of town with friends or
: family, I felt so out of place,
: the weird guy about his food.

: Well, happy to tell you that I eat
: out pretty regular, at least more,
: a few times a week, without any
: issues, I can now look at a menu
: and and make it work for me. The
: right restaurant helps a lot, but
: even new places I can make work,
: Completely no desire for sweets!

: Also, recently went for a long
: weekend at the beach and took some
: staples to fill in where the group
: meal didnt work just right. And
: since my brain is healed (or
: mostly) I didnt feel like I was
: under the microscope! It was a
: group of 10 friends and everyone
: that noticed, took an interest,
: but no big deal.
: It was the best weekend in a long
: time.

: And yes potato at night, every night.
: :h2)
