Hi Sara
We are all here to give you encouragement. Some of us are new to the program, and others have been doing it for a long time.

Step 1 is breakfast. It has 4 parts:
enough protein for your body
a complex carb (whole grain bread, oatmeal, home fries with skin for instance)
within an hour of getting up
every day

You can start with whichever of these parts is easiest for you. When I started, I was eating breakfast right away every day, but it was all carbs, so I needed to work on protein and switching to complex carbs. Once I was eating protein for breakfast, I felt so much better. I wasn't ravenous an hour later anymore.
