Re: Breakfast. What DID it actually do for me ?

Hi, Maria.

Thanks so much for responding, and again this resonated with me. I struggled with the eggs, etc, too for a long time, thinking I had to stick with solid food because in the past smoothies have held me about 15 minutes, then trying less solid food *with* shake, etc, etc. I'm now in the shake only, with oatmeal, protein powder, and yogurt or cottage cheese (thank you, Mosaic :) ) mixed in, along with some fruit and greens, and for right now that's just perfect -- I love it, it holds me, and it's just the right amount of effort and time so I *do* keep coming back to it -- at last!

But, yes, I can also totally see it as training for more solid food if I need to come back to that in the winter, and your pattern sounds really good.

And finally, yes, me too on the "oh, it's all too much trouble and boring" -- I've fallen into that a LOT; but now I can see, in this one little way, that a) it's not too much trouble if I just *do* it and don't fuss -- it's the fussing that really takes all the energy! and b) it's not boring if I love it. :)

But I think having some backup choices that are easier than running out for something "wicked" is prudent, so I'm going to look into those frozen burritos! Thanks!!
