Re: Christmas breakfast anyone ?
In Response To: Christmas breakfast anyone ? ()

I usually have shake for Christmas breakfast but I might make myself an omelet and toast. My husband makes wonderful omelets, but he usually isn't ready to eat breakfast until well after the time that I need to eat. However, if he cooks an omelet, I might have second breakfast!

I usually open my stocking while sipping my shake. (I do the YLD stocking exchange.) Then we open the presents later, after he's eaten.

I remember when I was a child, and we opened our stockings right away, but we had to wait until after breakfast to open presents. Then the adults insisted on eggs for breakfast, and it seemed to take forever! I could not believe that they were actually cooking instead of bolting down a bowl of cereal. What torture! And now I actually enjoy a relaxing breakfast. Go figure.
