Re: Sweet potato (something?) *LINK*

I think you are referring to yam bars. I have talked about them a lot, but the recipe came from someone else.

Here's the recipe

3 cups baked sweet potato, skins removed (wash and prick skin on sweet potatoes, bake at 400 on a foil-covered baking sheet until they are really soft, about an hour)

3 cups quick cooking oats
1 cup Restore (you could use a different protein powder, but when I did, I didn't like texture)
1 cup nut butter
Chopped toasted nuts

combine ingredients. I mix the yams and oats and then add the other ingredients. one at a time. You can add some water if necessary. The dough is very stiff, and I've found that sometimes it's better to just put my hands in the mixture and smoosh it all together until it's blended.

Pour into a 9 x 13 baking pan that has been greased or sprayed with cooking spray and bake at 350 for 45 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean. Cool and cut into squares. We put them in ziplock bags and keep them in the freezer.
