Yes Allison, this is it thank you very much! I would rather stick a fork in my eye than cook, but I can do this and it makes me happy when they are finished, wrapped up and sleeping in the freezer.Thank you again.

:: I think you are referring to yam
: bars. I have talked about them a
: lot, but the recipe came from
: someone else.

: Here's the recipe

: 3 cups baked sweet potato, skins
: removed (wash and prick skin on
: sweet potatoes, bake at 400 on a
: foil-covered baking sheet until
: they are really soft, about an
: hour)

: 3 cups quick cooking oats
: 1 cup Restore (you could use a
: different protein powder, but when
: I did, I didn't like texture)
: 1 cup nut butter
: Chopped toasted nuts

: combine ingredients. I mix the yams
: and oats and then add the other
: ingredients. one at a time. You
: can add some water if necessary.
: The dough is very stiff, and I've
: found that sometimes it's better
: to just put my hands in the
: mixture and smoosh it all together
: until it's blended.

: Pour into a 9 x 13 baking pan that
: has been greased or sprayed with
: cooking spray and bake at 350 for
: 45 minutes, or until a knife comes
: out clean. Cool and cut into
: squares. We put them in ziplock
: bags and keep them in the freezer.
: Allison
