Thanks, mosaic -- it's so encouraging.to talk with someone who shares some of the same traits. :) I think too I've read you say that you're more a savory person than a sweet person? I am too. At some point I'd like to ask some questions about that, but it would be getting ahead of myself to do that now, and I'm trying not to do that!

Current weekday breakfast is shake with steel-cut oats, soy milk, Restore, 1 T almond butter, 1 T flax seed, plain yogurt, some greens, some frozen berries, and half a banana. It really holds me, most days, and is much less daunting on a weekday morning than cooking. Weekends I do more of a meal, that includes protein, brown, and veg. The part I struggle with is time -- I have the most energy in the morning, and I just buzz around doing everything I can see that needs doing, and I miss the hour most days. I think I need to just put a piece of paper down on the kitchen counter and make a note of all the things I will do *after* breakfast; that way I won't forget them, but they won't use up all my am time!
