Re: Breakfast Timing Question

Hi Laura
When I wake up early I usually have a snack, 1/2 breakfast and go back to bed and usually sleep. If I lie there I and don’t go back to sleep I am overly hungry and cranky when I do get up.

: Laura,

: this is a very interesting question.
: The key is to reflect on what
: is behind the recommendation rather
: than just how should you follow a
: rule.

: Think about what time you last ate.
: So if you ate at 6 PM, by 6 AM the
: next morning,
: it has been 12 hours. That is a long
: time. And when you start pushing
: the time, your sweet body is going
: into stress mode which causes a
: release of beta endorphin so then
: you feel lean and mean and
: beuatiful and virtuous. :h11)

: If you are lying in bed dozing in and
: out, your body may stay in sleep
: mode. But if you are awake and
: turning on the motor, it is a good
: idea to have something to eat :h2)

: Does this make sense?
