Oh no, I'm really sorry to hear that. I guess you will be packing hospital food instead, which is a little easier. When my husband had his heart surgery, the nurses let me use the microwave there and I ate my dinner there. (I was working, so I'd visit before and after work. It was before we were married, so I couldn't take sick leave to be with him.)

I hope he has a speedy recovery.
