C is for Carbs, brown carbs

Hi everyone,
Another obvious choice since brown carbs are an integral part of doing the food. Whole grains, beans, potato with skin, and sweet potatoes feed the serotonin factory. I've had ambivalent feeling about them at times, like when I gained weight at menopause while eating mostly vegetarian. I blamed those carbs.

I explored paleo for a while but find I need some carbs and meat is not my favorite food, lol, though I eat it anyway. So these days I mostly choose buckwheat for breakfast and potatoes & sweet potatoes. And my journal reminds me that I do feel better (way better) when I'm eating consistent brown carbs.
