G is for Get to

This expands on F for Frame and Re-frame. Probably the biggest re-frame I've learned here is to change my thinking and attitude from *have to* to *get to*. This first came up at Ranch as an antidote to misery. Thinking I *have to* do something makes it feel like a chore. If I can re-frame that to I *get to* do something it's something to look forward to.

So instead of thinking, "Ugh, I *have to* eat breakfast within an hour of getting up" I can think "Yay, I *get to* have yummy chocolate buckwheat that will set me up for a good day of eating and living.' It may sound pollyanna-ish but it works!

What's your G?
