Early morning on Wed
I got up at 4 and it is VERY, very dark then. Everything is soooooo quiet. And it rained last night so things are even more muffled . Got my piles of papers out, got my pen and starting writing. I wrote for about 20 minutes and then thought, *OH! wait! go eat.* I went and made a shake. Josie didn’t stir. Pepper came in the kitchen and said, *dear god, what are you doing!* and then went back to her bed. It was a mini shake. I thought *oh, maybe put some fish oil in there.* I picked up the bottle of pet oil thinking, *well I know this is the same* and then, thankfully, thought to sniff it because it does not have the picture of the the orange on the label. Yep, doggie oil does not have orange flavor. Thank goodness I held my hand. I got the people one out and put in a wee bit. I figured it would crank my brain a bit. The whole thing was very tasty.
And of course, it made a huge difference in my focus. I have been struggling with one chapter. This morning, it was clear that there is just too much information for a chapter, it will have to be another book. That made things sooooo much easier so I could just finish the first draft of that chapter, wahoooo! Now I am really excited because the rest will flow pretty easily. Still lots and lots of work to do, but there are no more stuck places.

I am all for *no more stuck places*!
This is really exciting to read about! I love the insights into your process. How tantalizing to hear that two books may be emerging!
Sheesh, now I know how Pepper, Ronan and Josie feel when they can barely contain themselves…my brain is just quivering at the thought of reading what’s coming through you!
And now I know you do breaky so early in the morning!!
