Hi Allison,
Oh yeah, I forgot the egg! Dense protein - got it. Thanks for the tip! I'm so thankful that I live near a farm and can get organic eggs from chickens running around in the grass. So many things in life to be thankful for!
I agree with what you said. Although I wasn't completely sure how I was not quite 'getting it' (see previous posts in this topic) I decided to just not rush things to step 2 and kick back and just see what came up - what I could still learn? "Maybe I am overanalyzing", I thought to myself. I wrote in my journal (not food) and didn't go back and read it until today. I found, uh, little about food, LOL, and lots about gratitude for the little things, fear of change regarding this sugar thing
, and a desire to let addictive behaviors fall out of my routine.
It's reassuring to hear that you benefited by stopping the linear thinking and 'just be' made a difference for you.
Have a nice evening and thanks for sharing,
Becky
: Hi Becky
: The egg in the pancakes would also be
: part of the protein. But yes, that
: is more of the way we would think
: about it.
: I was a programmer when I started the
: program (and now I am a data
: analyst). I found that when I did
: the program, although I am still
: analytical, the creative side of
: me was able to open up more. I
: think part of the process of doing
: the program is learning to let go
: of the analysis and just
: experiencing things, although my
: analytical skills were useful too.
: But I had to learn when to stop
: and just be.
