new to this....

Hi, I have just ordered Potatoes not Prozac from amazon and I have been browsing the site. I put into practice many of your suggested rules (but not all) years ago after lots of research, e.g I always eat protein n complex carbs at every meal and never eat 'white' foods and I always eat breakfast within 1 hour of rising but I still end up reaching for the sugar when hormonal or down and undoing all my good work. I often feel ill and disorientated. If I follow your rules exactly do you think it would help me? Anyone else been where I am and got better? Sorry this is so long and to sound sceptical but I have been battling with this for years and feel quite desperate :s2( . My doctor tells me I am depressed! :s6( Any advice and comments gratefully received! Thanks
