Thank you everyone for your replies and sharing your personal experiences, I appreciate it!
I should have mentioned in my original post that I did move all sugar to my mealtimes, saving it actually until the end of the meal. I have not omitted any sugar or cut down yet, I want to make sure I am progressing at the right pace and not rushing any of the steps. By just taking things slowly I have been able to record many observations in my journal, such as the one mentioned in my prior post. If I had forged ahead I might never have found this pattern and been able to address it.
With regards to that, I am relieved to hear from Kathleen that there truly is an explanation, and therefore a solution!! So the feeling of being "stuck" has been lifted, and I have a new optimism. However I'm not sure exactly on how to go about getting "unstuck"! :-)
Which brings me to my next question: how do I handle the "withdrawal physiology" I'm experiencing on the 6th day? Kathleen you mentioned below that "doing the steps will alter that neurochemistry", will this change happen as I move forward in the steps?
