back after long absence

I did the program about 6 years ago and stuck with it a loooong time. I felt much better but I gradually started eating sugar again and got wayyyy off track. Anyway, I still kept with the whole wheat carbs and still take the vitamins. The only one I haven't been taking is zinc. The breakfast is not a problem as well, I just don't follow the program anymore but I want to get back on track. Is it ok to start back and just take the sugar out since I'm already doing most of the steps other than eating sweets and not eating the 3 times a day and potato at night? I don't want to jump back into it if I should start over. just wondering if I need to start at step one how long should I do each step if I'm already doing that?
