Hi Lucy
As you progress with the steps you will find so much freedom from all of the trying to control your eating, it really is the most freeing feeling ever, to not have to think about food constantly anymore. Before I started the program I was always grazing and working out what I could eat next and how long I could force myself to wait before I ate it. That was so horrible, having constant cravings and yet having to sit there and feel like that and not being able to get rid of the cravings and the want to eat all the time.
Although I know that happened to me, I can't actually put myself back there, I can only imagine that it was horrible. Seems like it all happened to a different person now.
Thanks for your post, although we feel amazing doing the program, sometimes we can forget how far we have come, and it's great to have been able to see that.
Love
Jane
