Re: Newbie from Scotland

Fiona,

You are soooooo in the right place! I'm so glad you found us :h11)

If you stay connected here in the RR community, you will soon learn how incredibly important all our UK people are to us. And dear!

Since you've been working on the program on your own, I can only add my encouragement to what others have said -- check in on each of your steps, beginning with step 1 (doesn't mean go back to eating like you were before, it's okay to keep what you have in place). Each step has its own subtleties and without getting themm really solid it's hard to move forward or maintain what we're gaining.

What do you like to have for breakfast?

: Hi, I am new to Radiant Recovery. I
: have been working on the programme
: for more than a month after
: finding PNP on Amazon. I have for
: many years been trying to loose
: weight unsuccessfully and used to
: drink far too much.
: I have always told people that I can
: only lose weight when I am happy
: and that I am addicted to white
: bread and pasta ... they have
: always laughed at me and my doctor
: just thinks I am a greedy person
: with no self discipline ... he
: gives all overweight people a very
: hard time being a fit marathon
: runner himself.
: When I started reading PNP it was a
: revelation. I found that I had
: already started the programme
: without realising - having given
: up most white things and the overt
: sugars like cake and desserts, but
: I still "treated myself"
: to sweet things after meals and
: the occasional biscuit (or two or
: three) and of course I was
: constantly falling and bingeing.
: I was already taking all the vitamins
: and since reading the PNP, the
: Total Recovery and the PNP Diet I
: have cut out most sugars and all
: white things ... I feel great,
: have lost half a stone and have
: never felt the inclination to
: binge but I am very aware of the
: dangers.
: I would love to hear from anyone else
: in Britain who is on the programme
: so we can share and seek out
: British foods that fit.
