Hi Everybody,
Does anybody know if Stevia is okay for sugar sensitive people. I noticed its in a few things. I used it in my decaf coffee? Is decaf and stevia an okay idea?
I did notice, (thanks to the journal I fussed about doing) that after having fish sticks with tartar sauce that had sugar in it. And chicken strips dipped in dressing that had sugar in it, and 2 pieces of sugar free milk chocolate peanut clusters, I didn't feel good the next day. I was foggy, spacey, felt off balance. I felt edgy and tired. Can that all have come from the sugar in the dressings? Its hard to believe I would be that sensitive!
Are sugar free chocolate candies okay? I haven't cut out covert sugars. The overt ones "left on their own." I am so full of all the other good stuff there just isn't room for them. On top of that I started to see pretty quickly that when I ate desserts, I felt like crap pretty soon afterward. I actually found my body turned off by them instead of turned on, lol. WoW! Nobody could've convinced me that would ever happen :-) When I got this far before (before I fell off the wagon on step 6!) I just didn't crave them. Sometimes I still have cravings but this time around, I look at dessert and my body says, "don't even think about it sista! It ain't worth it!" Almost like an allergy! But, I am getting terribly board with the food I am eating. I still have a hankering for the taste of sweet once in a while, without the horrible effects to follow. If I eat fruit with protien it upsets my stomach.
I know I have a few questions mixed in here but wondered if any of you more experienced folks might have any wisdom to impart ;)
Thanks, Lucy
