I've never seen one. I googled it and it lives in South America. There is some great information and some really nice photos in one of the links that came up about birds of Ecuador. It has a hook on the end of its beak. It drinks nectar, but instead of having a long beak to reach down into the flowers, it has a hooked beak to pierce the base of the flower and get the nectar.

I'm glad you asked this question, because I was curious about it but hadn't looked it up.
