In the first letter you got, it will have given you a link to click to go to the YLD site in your browser. When you do that, it will ask for the user ID and password for YLD which was also sent in the first email.

Once you get to the web page you will see the link to the YLD manual. It should have the answers you need.

In terms of changing your settings to digest mode, go http://groups.yahoo.com
It should show a list of your groups. Click on the one you want to change. Then Click Edit Membership at the top. On the next page, it will give you the option to pick digest mode. Once you have clicked digest mode, be sure and click the Save Changes button at the bottom.
