OK, we techie volunteers are looking into this. I don't know if or when we'll have a solution. It may be your browser settings or the forum, so we'll keep playing with it.

Mean time, one thing you could do is put your messages preference to reverse chronological order, then you would have a better idea which ones you didn't read, if you wrote down the number of the last post you read.
