my previous ramble hasn't appeared on here as yet - try this - it has worked for me, & all i needed to do was scroll a bit further down the options page! maybe i'm a bit impatient, eh??

1. Login to your e-mail account.
2. Click on the “Options.”
3. Click on the “General Preferences.”
4. Under the option “From Name”, please type the name.
5. Click on “Save.”
