Patti,
OK, if you were NOT going to change your Yahoo ID, then you should definitely NOT unsubscribe. It's really easy to change your email address with Yahoo.

To do that, go to one of your list pages on the web, then click on My Account. Under Member Information, if you click the Edit button, it will let you add email addresses. Then once you do that, you go to each of your lists, and pick the email address you want to use. There will be a drop down box.

However, if you really want to change your Yahoo ID, then you will have to start from square one, re-subscribe to your lists, etc.

Also, since you are a YLD member, you will have to notify the powers that be to change your email address in the database.

In the interum, I suggest you get a free web based email address like hotmail or gmail. I have both, and I actually really like gmail. (Yahoo also has a web-based free email address).

With one of the web based services, you can check your email from any computer that has an Internet connection, so from the library, Kinko's, etc.

Here's another option. If you think you might get a national provider like Mindspring/Earthlink, you can go ahead and get an email address from them now. However if you don't know yet whether you want to get cable or DSL or whatever, then you might want to wait until you get to your new location.

For your lists, I think your best bet is to go ahead and get a free web-based email and change your lists to that. And don't unsubscribe unless your'e ready to re-subscribe. Even if you don't change your email address, you can log in and check online if you wanted to.

Hope that all makes sense.

Kitty
