Jackie, all I can tell you about the Java stuff is that it's very standard. I work in a large company that is VERY security conscious and they install the Active X controls and the J25e runtimes and we have not had any problem. I cannot make decisions for you about your computer, but everyone on a PC who goes to chats has this installed. I don't know about Spysweeper.

For the Yahoo issue, do you remember the password for the old profile? If so, you should be able to use that. If not, I believe that Yahoo collected some information like birth date and mother's maiden name that would help you retrieve it.

Otherwise if you're going to set up a new profile you have to pick another Yahoo ID and start from scratch.

I am sorry it took a couple days to respond. We are all volunteers and sometimes life things come up for us.
