Yes, this sometimes happens. Yahoo says it can take up to 48 hours for these changes to take place. Even though most of the time it doesn't happen that often, it did happen to me once and took almost a week.

My suggestion would be to wait another day or two. If it still doesn't change, you could write Yahoo. It's not all that easy to write them, they don't exactly publish an email address.

If you decide to try writing them, I suggest you go to the page where your membership informatino is (i.e. where you made your choice of how to get mails) and click the Help link (usually in the upper right corner).

Then click a help topic, and at the bottom of the topic there is a question about did it help or not. If you click "No", it will let you write them a message.

Hopefully, it will right itself in very soon and you won't have to do anything else. But again to answer your question, yes this does happen and it's not uncommon.
