My hotmail e-mail address is dedicated only to Radiant Recovery. Recently, I have received at that address three of those famous e-mails from people in Africa wanting me to transfer money to them.

Curious about how that address was getting out, I googled my screen name/e-mail address and found a few of my forum posts out there for all to see. I realize that anyone can come onto the forum and troll for e-mail addresses, and I suppose there is no way to keep our posts off the internet. But I thought I'd bring this to your attention in case you didn't know, and felt security could or should be tightened or at least inform us of the risks. I know of one RR forum regular who found out that a new guy she was dating had googled her e-mail address, read her forum posts and thought she had an eating disorder!

Is there anything I should be doing at my end to keep my posts and address more private? I thought that having a dedicated address would do the trick, but I guess not. Is removing my e-mail address an option?
