: Kitty, the problem is still there on my PC (Windows XP using IE7
: version 7.0.5730.13) and my daughter's PC (Windows Vista using
: IE7 version 7.0.6000.16546). I closed all browsers on both PCs
: and opened new ones but nothing changed.
: Which browser settings would I need to change?
: Kindest regards,
: -Donna
Donna,
I don't actually know which ones to tell you to fix, what I'd suggest is that you compare the settings on your older version browser with those in IE 7, and see if you can find any differences. I'm guessing you know how to get there, but here it is just in case: choose "Tools" (at the top) then Internet Options.
Here's another long shot: when you go to the forum web site, carefully look around the Internet Explorer window and see if you can find anywhere (maybe near the top or near the bottom) that has some message about blocking the site or blocking content from the site. If you find something, follow whatever it says to allow whatever it's blocking. Many computer have things like a 'Site Advisor" that blocks content from sites it doesn't know about.
I'll check with Gretel if she has any other ideas.
