Many of us are having similar issues. Now and then, Yahoo servers get clogged or something and many people don't get all the emails.

I have heard this happening to quite a few people recently.

I think it's just another case of Yahoo having problems.

One thing you might consider is getting the digest. I know there are things you might not like about the digest, but you can read it off line, and it should have all the mails in it.

I'm sure you probably know this, but it might benefit some others: If you do switch to digest, just make sure when you reply to an email, change the subject to the actual subject you're replying to, and trim out all the irrelevant stuff (i.e. don't send the whole digest back to the list).
